Preparation of Integrated Personal Financial Plans

A personal financial plan includes the following key components:

  • Review of insurance
  • A review of your ability to meet your retirement financial needs and goals
  • Review of asset allocation

For many of our entrepreneurial clients, their work lives are extremely busy, but the personal side of the financial equation is often not given adequate attention. Our approach is to make sure that all of the key components are considered and understood (number of years before retirement, income sources now and in retirement, expenses now and in retirement, investment returns now and in retirement, and type and level of insurance). We suggest that a personal financial plan should be updated every few years to make sure that the individual is still on track to meet their objectives.

We value the independence that comes from not selling or advocating for any specific products, and believe that this enhances our ability to provide unbiased advice.
